Dogtown Lake Folks were catching fish powerbait on Sunday when my coworker was there fishing unfortunately he didn’t talk to anyone and couldn’t see the color. I would try garlic powerbait in a green or rainbow. He was catching fish from his boat using flies. He was fishing them as slow as he could move them. He also said there were a bunch of flying ants on the edge of the lake and the fish were feeding...

Flagstaff Williams Fishing Report

Dogtown Lake Dogtown Lake was stocked with about 5700 catchable (10 inch) so far this year. The hatchery also be stocked 4700 smaller (6 inch) Rainbow Trout 2 weeks ago. The smaller fish needed to be moved from the hatchery to reduce crowding and allow other fish to grow up to size faster. Dogtown is one of the few lakes in the Region in the area that produces enough food to grow these smaller fish. We are starting to see reports of folks catching some nice size holdover fish trolling with lures on the lake. One of the Trout posted...

Flagstaff Williams Fishing Report 3/30/17

Dogtown Lake Dogtown Lake has not been stocked yet, but should be next week.   Fishing has been slow, but the few holdover fish being caught are nice size fish. Kaibab Lake About 3,200 Rainbow Trout were stocked in Kaibab last week. The lake is still muddy so fishing is probably slow. I would try small silver or gold lures to try and catch the Trout. Flagstaff Area Lakes Much like the Williams area lakes most of the lakes in the Flagstaff area are full and spilling. Lower Lake Mary isn’t spilling, but it has more water in it than any...
