Angler report: Banner bass day at Goldwater Lake

Incredible day of bass fishing at Goldwater Lake!  In 7 hours of fishing, I caught and released 119 largemouth bass, ranging from 12 to 16 inches.  All fish caught on 1.5 inch crappie tubes. Largemouth bass were stocked recently.  Weather conditions: Sunny and clear. Water conditions: Stained.   Note: Largemouth bass were stocked into Goldwater Lake this week. Angler Report: Free Fishing Day Gila trout at Goldwater Lake

Michael is making his way around the Prescott area lakes and catching trout. His fish at Watson Lake are 16-18 inches with average weight of 1.5 pounds. I have been getting mixed reports at Watson but the 1.5 inch crappie tubes are working for Michael. ”

The Largemouth Bass are moving into the shallows at Willow Lake. The pictures were taken the 18th and 19th of March. Keith and his crew were using brightly colored lizards, Texas rigged. Prescott area fishing report: Watson Lake

Incredible hard fighting, tail-walking rainbow trout caught at Watson Lake. In 1 hour Michael caught and released 10 beautiful rainbow trout, ranging from 14 to 16 inches. Fish were caught on the north shore of the lake, at a depth of 1 to 2 feet, on 1.5 inch crappie tubes. Weather conditions: Windy, Cool & Partly Cloudy. Water Conditions: Stained. ”
